With Google I/O 2014 over and a lot of news to be happy about, Gameloft decided to drop their news about them optimizing nine of their games for Android TV. This should come as no surprise because Gameloft is usually one of the first companies to announce support for new Android platforms.
These are the games that Gameloft is optimizing:
· Asphalt 8: Airborne
· Despicable Me: Minion Rush
· GT Racing 2
· Dungeon Hunter 4
· Ice Age Village
· Modern Combat 4
· My Little Pony – Friendship is Magic
· Wonder Zoo
· World at Arms
Even though we already have lots of consoles for TV to choose from, I do believe that Google will revolusionzes the TV gaming experience, but how, we still don't know. We all know that Android TV won't completely replace big consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One, but it might be an interesting product that will have tons of more features than those two consoles. Gameloft says they have been working with Google in order to enhance the games. These nine games will be available from day one, but it's unknown how Gameloft will be supporting Android TV with future releases.
