Asphalt 8: Airborne Cheats And Tips - French Guiana

Asphalt 8: Airborne is available for iOS and Android, and we checked out the tracks to provide you with strategies to get the most from each race.

For this latest guide, we take you to one of the toughest courses, French Guiana. It twists and turns all over the place, and if you're not careful, you'll quickly become road debris. No need to worry. We have everything covered.

-When you first begin the race, you'll see a huge space shuttle platform with two ramps, as well as side routes. The ramps may seem like the obvious choice, but they come with huge risk. Not only must you dodge large structures - you can steer in mid-air, by the way - but you also have to contend with objects on the ground after you land. The best way to go is underneath, as there's a hidden path right through the center of the shuttle platform. Take this to get some air and add to your boost meter. Then, when you pass through the tunnel, take the ramp on the left side to get even more air, heading into a hangar. This section also becomes trickier on the second lap, thanks to the space shuttle launch.

-Once you get into the hangar, use some drift to dominate the first corner, then take the small path on the left. You'll find a few Nitros to help you along, and be sure to take out some cars with a well-timed boost.

-The road will split after this. The right route is shorter and will get you to the next section of track, while the left has some boost, as well as a jump to get you onto an overpass. The choice is yours.

-From there, two freeway roads will wind up and down, criss-crossing each other. Try to stick to the high roads, mainly because you'll find Nitros along both.

-You'll then head into a tunnel with dividing paths. The right is a bit longer, but the left comes with Nitros, and will give you a small jump for extra boost.

-Both paths lead to a wide-open runway, but they're filled with dangerous obstacles. On the first lap, you'll contend with large rolling vehicles, which you can either drive under or launch over by hitting a ramp. These disappear the second lap, but you'll have to watch out for a landing space shuttle. Avoid these and keep going until the road divides.

-When it comes to the final two laps, take the right one. It's much shorter than the left, and you'll find a couple of Nitros on the way, which you can use for a final push towards the finish line. Good luck!
