Frozen Free Fall Cheats And Tips

Frozen Free Fall doesn't exactly re-invent the wheel with its match-three gameplay, but there's no denying that this free-to-play game is very well polished. We've been playing the game a lot this week, so we thought we'd put together some essential hints and tips to help you beat even the trickiest levels in the game.

Icebergs are created when you manage to create match-ups in a T or L shape. Once you've matched up an iceberg, it will explode and break every ice crystal situated around it. A very handy trick if you can pull it off, so always keep an eye out for these special matches.
If you can find a way to create a match of five crystals, you'll create a mighty glacier. Once included in a match-up, this very special tile will destroy every tile on the screen that matches the color. Use these to clear awkwardly shaped boards and bring new matching opportunities into play.
1
Take your time in the limited moves rounds. You've got no clock to race against, but you do need to reach a minimum score. Don't be too hasty with your matching here - it's much better to make sure you get every special match-up you can, so as to set off explosive combos that obliterate the target score.
Don't worry about leaving any of your special tiles on the board at the end of a round. If you have any left over, the game will go into its Free Fall mode, put each tile's special effect into play, and award you any points acquired from doing so.
2
Tempting though it is to use a special tile right away, resist the urge and instead start working on a new explosive crystal. If you can then bring both of these tiles into play at the same time, you'll see a much greater explosive effect, increasing the points you score, and bringing even more new scoring opportunities into play.
You're given two Ice Picks to play with at a certain point in the game. You'll need to use one of them in the tutorial, but save the remaining one for much later levels when the challenge really ramps up. The same applies for the Snowballs you receive slightly later on in Frozen Free Fall.
3
During certain levels, you'll have to bring special items to the bottom of the board. You won't always know where the special tile will appear from though, so make sure you work evenly across the whole board to bring them into play quickly. Once you know where each object is, prioritize that column and clear in vertical matches wherever possible.
Keep an eye on the meter at the top left-hand corner of the screen if you're looking to max out a three star rating. As you create matches and score points, the meter will fill up. Make sure you're using moves as efficiently as possible to get the highest rating.
4
Sometimes you'll have to clear snow from the board in order to complete a level. Whenever you're presented with this sort of challenge, make sure you create matches that run along these special tiles - that way you'll clear much more ground per individual match-up.
The more moves you have left in the bank at the end of a challenge, the much better chance you have of bagging a three-star rating on a level. Each spare move will be converted into a special tile, which then detonates to boost your final score. The more efficiently you clear special objectives in a level, the more points you're likely to score overall, so make every single move count.
