The 7D Mine Train Cheats And Tips

Fans of the Disney XD series The 7D will find a lot to enjoy in the company's latest mobile endless runner game, The 7D Mine Train. In it, players choose between three dwarves (with more to come) as they run down mine trails, picking up gems and bumping into obstacles to keep going. The better you do, the more you'll clean up, and the more power-ups you'll be able to purchase.
This isn't an out-of-control mine cart, though. It can be mastered if you keep a few of these tips in mind.

How do I play The 7D Mine Train?

This is, in essence, an endless runner game where you'll want to avoid bumping into obstacles (unless you're up to speed) or falling into bottomless pits. The controls are pretty easy to master, as you merely tap on the screen to jump. Sometimes you'll need to time it, though, in order to bounce off the heads of enemies or open up treasure chests.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to run through spike traps, past enemies and chests, and only have to worry about dodging the bottomless pits. Make sure you build as much speed as possible. You'll know you're at that point, as your chosen dwarf will glow with a white light.

How do the dwarves' abilities work in The 7D Mine Train?

Once you manage to collect enough gems in the game, you'll be able to activate a special ability for each dwarf. Each one is special in their own way.
Sleepy, for example, activates a sleepwalking technique that enables him to fly all over the screen to collect gems. Sneezy provides a powerful sneeze that gives him an immense amount of speed; he can also bounce his way out of trouble if he falls into a bottomless pit. Finally, Happy plays his cart piano, thus attracting nearby gems without having to go over and pick them up.
Happy is the best bet out of the three, thanks to his gem collecting, but otherwise, they generally play about the same.

How do I earn extra gems in The 7D Mine Train?

Complete missions that you receive before the run, and you'll clean up extra gems that you can use to unlock power-ups. These are pretty easy to complete at first, like collecting 25 gems in a jump or reaching a minimum distance, but the later ones get tricky.

How does a second dwarf help me in The 7D Mine Train?

A secondary dwarf serves as a saver of sorts, as he'll help bail you out of a bottomless pit if you're falling down, or bounce an enemy off you if you aren't maintaining enough speed. Be sure to keep an eye out for them, as they're strewn throughout the stage as you go along your run.

How do power-ups work in The 7D Mine Train?

A bevy of power-ups are available for purchase from the shop, using gems that you pick up over the course of the game. These include a Landing Boost, a Steam Engine (which increases your speed up hills), a Double Jump and a Jewel Stick (which is a modified version of Happy's default ability).
For good measure, you can also pick up such power-ups as getting an Extra Life (which serves the same purpose as a secondary dwarf), Double Gems, Gloom Repellent (which take out enemies), Chest Opener (which opens up nearby treasure chests without needing to bop on them) and Head Start (a quick starting boost).
Check them out, and invest as often as you can.

Do I need to pay for anything in The 7D Mine Train?

There is some decent content available here without paying a cent, but there are additional levels and power-ups to unlock, with secondary purchases going for around $1.99 or so. If you must have all of it, go with the 7D Super Pack, which unlocks everything for $4.99.
Also, a quick heads-up - the game notifies you about turning on parental controls before you get started. Heed this advice, as you'll want to make sure your kids don't make accidental purchases in the game.
