Timberman Review

Get ready to chop some wood, Timberman is now out for Android!
Timberman is an oldschool arcade style casual game. It's a game where reflexes are everything. The goal of the game is to chop down what has to be the tallest tree in the world, while dodging the branches that fall down in the process. This is done by tapping at the left or right of the screen, to switch the direction from which you chop the tree.

The biggest danger isn't a falling tree, but the branches that come falling down. If you don't dodge them, it's game over. What makes this challenging is the red charge meter at the top. Every time you swing your axe, it gains a small amount of charge, but the longer you spend chopping away at the trunk, the quicker the bar drains. If that meter runs out, it's also game over.
The design and artwork is also quite simple and cool. The cartoony graphics fits the theme of the game perfectly. The only thing I didn't quite enjoy about the game is the tinny tapping sound that plays every time you chop at the tree. But don't worry, in the newest update, the developer added a mute button.

Timberman is a great game for people who like games that require quick reflexes. Highscore hunters will also most likely enjoy this game as well. There are four different environments that change randomly, and eight lumberjacks to unlock. The game is fun, simple and really addictive, get the game here for free!
