How do you play Ninja Up!?

How do I compete with friends in Ninja Up!?
By logging into Facebook, your friends' best times will automatically be recorded in the game world, complete with name and Avatar, so you can see who you're competing against. Once your run is complete, your highest score will post on their screens as well, so they can try and beat you, and you can go back and beat them, and so on.Do I need to pay for anything in Ninja Up!?
