Just last week, I mentioned that everyone's favorite zombie game The Walking Dead is coming to the Google Play Store. Now, another Telltale point-and-click adventure game has come to Android. You can find The Wolf Among Us on the Amazon Appstore here. As Telltale likes to do, the first episode of Wolf Among Us is totally free. If you like it and want to play through the entire game, you can buy the rest of the episode for $4.99 each or the season pass for $14.99.
The Wolf Among Us features the same artstyle and gameplay as The Walking Dead. In the game, you make long-lasting and pretty significant dialog decisions while navigating through the storyline set in the world of the Fables. That world is not unlike our world. The only difference is that fairytale characters like the Big Bad Wolf and Snow White are real and alive, and living among us. The story quickly unfolds into a giant mystery requiring you to find out the reason behind what is happening. If you think I sound vague, that is because I'm trying my best not to ruin the story for you. The story is really well done and the dialogue shines enough to forgive the lack of actual gameplay action.
If you're a fan of Telltale's games, like I am, you do not want to miss this. I've always believed that the point-and-click genre belongs and plays best on mobile devices, and this is no different. If you are still on the fence, I strongly suggest giving the first episode a try. It is free.
