We have a few tips that will make you ready for battle.
How do I play Captain America: The Winter Soldier?
The game is played from a top-down perspective, and you can either guide your soldier manually using a virtual joystick in the lower left corner, or touch locations on the levels themselves. Your secondary soldiers will automatically follow and provide back-up as long as you make sure to take care of them with health and supplies. The main goal is to get through each stage by defeating all the enemies. In the early stages, charging in and fighting them with fisticuffs is a safe bet. However, with later levels, you'll want to use secondary fire and grenades to clear out some of the opposition, or you'll get overwhelmed and lose health in a hurry. Make sure you stay invested with plenty of health and grenades, and keep your soldiers from succumbing out in the field. Otherwise, you'll really be in trouble - even if you are Captain America.
How will objectives help me in Captain America: The Winter Soldier?
Before each stage, you receive a trio of objectives that you'll need to follow to earn a three-star rating. These are pretty basic at first - defeat the leader, have a certain amount of health left over - but as time goes on, they become progressively harder.Get a hang of how the objectives work in your favor and operate with your team so you don't stray too far from their general goals. They'll pay off in the long run, as you'll earn additional funds that you can use to level up yourself and your fellow soldiers at SHIELD HQ, as well as buy secondary packs of gear and health.
How does the Research Center work in Captain America: The Winter Soldier?
The Research Center is where you'll be able to level up their soldiers, increasing their efficiency with rifle fire, throwing grenades and improving their protective gear, including their helmets. You'll want to visit this place often, as you'll be able to make them fighting machines on the same level as the good Captain. This is no time to be cheap - even if that means dropping a few real dollars into the mix to level them up.How do I collect money in Captain America: The Winter Soldier?
Along with completing general objectives, you'll want to keep an eye out for gold coins occasionally dropped by enemies. Make sure you run over and pick them up quickly. These really add up in the long run, and allow you to purchase more gear. How does secondary strategy work in Captain America: The Winter Soldier?
You basically work as a team, and in doing so, realize that Captain America needs help. He can throw his shield, which is a good defensive tactic and a great way to clear out enemies, but you'll want to use your secondary players' strengths to your advantage, especially when it comes to shooters and armored foes.Save grenades for larger groups that you want to clear out right away, and make sure you watch out for gunmen that will do harm to the Captain when he gets close. Keep your men on alert and guide them over to the gunmen first, then take out thugs using your manual controls while they finish off the intended targets. Remember, it helps to work as a team - or you'll likely perish.
Do I need to pay for anything in Captain America: The Winter Soldier?
You can play the game for free without having to worry about pay-to-play penalties, but your soldiers will level up a lot slower. You can drop an investment from anywhere between $0.99 and $19.99 for credits, which you can turn around to level them up and purchase better gear. Play through the game first and see if it's the right option for you.
