Soccer brawler Hooligans: The Bravest launches on iOS
In the midst of World Cup fever, Artik Games has released its own game about the sport of soccer, but this isn't your ordinary management or simulation game. Hooligans: The Bravest is now available on iOS, and takes players to a parallel universe where soccer has been outlawed by military rulers.
As leader of the Hooligans, players will take control of a team of units, attacking enemies and destroying enemy bases while defending their own. It's an experience described as a "[soccer]-themed, side-scrolling beat-'em-up and battle arena action game." Users recruit new units and capture shelters as they play, and will come up against not only minor enemy characters, but also boss fights.
Once players head into battle, it's all-out-mayhem, with heroes, enemies, explosions and weapons filling the screen. Players collect skulls to upgrade their base and units, and can upgrade their hero with the special "crazy powers" available to purchase in the in-game store.
Hooligans: The Bravest is available to download for $2.99 on iOS.
