CD Projekt Announces a Witcher MOBA Game

All you Witcher fans out there must have been really excited last month when they announced that a boardgame style Witcher-themed game is coming to mobile devices. Well, be prepared to be blown away again, because developer CD Projekt has announced yet another game coming to iOS, Android and Windows phones and tablets. This time though, it will come in the form of a free-to-play Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). The game will be aptly titled The Witcher Battle Arena.
It seems like they are really squeezing every last drop out of the IP. Some companies promote their upcoming game by TV advertisements or trailer releases, but CD Projekt seems to think that the best way to get people excited about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is to get them to continuously play Witcher-themed games. But wouldn't we just get burnt out? I guess we would just have to see about that.
The game will play similar to Dota and will feature all the prominent protagonists and antagonists from The Witcher 1 and 2, each with their own set of skills and abilities. Of course, it will feature cross-platform multiplayer so that you can play with PC/Console players as well as those on iOS. To know more about the game, check out their website here.
