On the Touch Arcade forum, some users have spotted a new Assassin's Creed game in Ubisoft's Uplay social gaming network. It's called Assassin's Creed Memories. It's a big mash up of card battler, RPG, and strategy.
Last November, Ubisoft officially announced that they had stopped working on Assassin's Creed Utopia, a card game for mobile devices. The game was to be set in 1600 during the colonization of North America and featured a typical structure of strategy game with some sessions of turn-based combat and a co-op campaign online.
Considering Ubisofts last Assassin's Creed game, Assassin's Creed Pirates, Assassin's Creed Memories is a huge let down. It's especially disappointing when you consider last year's Assassin's Creed Pirates, which even though it wasn't an Assassin's Creed experience as one might expect, at least hinted that Ubisoft might be willing to attempt to recreate certain gameplay elements on mobile.
Ubisoft has not set any release date yet, but the game is "coming soon." Look out for more information in the future!
