Pretty green furball, Leopold, is set to bring his fortune to the Google Play Store next week in the 2D platforming adventure: Leo's Fortune (see what I did there?). The game launched at the end of April for iOS users, debuting with pretty good reviews from critics and fans alike. Now it's our turn to enjoy the adventure on Android devices when it launches on July 10, 2014.
The art style and protagonist is a strong part of the allure. Playing a green furball with a finely combed mustache immediately reminds me of cute cats with their whiskers, and honestly, who doesn't like that? The gameplay mechanics lends itself well suited to highlight the physics-based puzzle platforming that is all the rage these days. In the game, Leo's fortune has been stolen by a mysterious presence and he must then endure brutal environments and obstacles to slowly regain coin after coin scattered around the levels.
I've seen and heard positive things about this game and I must tell you that I am seriously considering buying it. However, if the developer would be soooooo kind to give me a copy to review, that would be really awesome! I'll let you know if that happens. Either way, I'm sure a review will be coming from me or one of my colleagues after July 10. So stay tuned to this site if you want to know whether the game is worth throwing your money at.
