Zynga brings FarmVille 2: Country Escape to Kindle
Zynga's popular iOS and Android game FarmVille 2: Country Escape launched last month to critical acclaim and praise from fans, and now, a new set of users can jump into this mobile farming experience. Zynga has announced the launch of the game on the Amazon App Store for Kindle devices.
In FarmVille 2: Country Escape, users travel to an old family farm, and are introduced to many long-time family friends. Users complete quests for these characters, farming crops, raising animals and tending "landmark" locations like a fishing hole, glade of berries, and even a mine deep within the rocky outskirts of the farmland.
Each action results in resources for the player, from food items to minerals, wool and more. These raw materials can be turned into many country food recipes, or crafted items like rag dolls or socks, depending on the resources. As players progress, they unlock additional raw materials and their accompanying crafting recipes, like the ability to make wine or sell seafood on the coast.
Unlike the Facebook game FarmVille 2, Country Escape doesn't require friends to play, as users aren't required to collect building materials to complete tasks. The two farms connect via a truck and gas pump system, which allows users to send groups of items from one farm to the other for use. For instance, players can collect free water in Country Escape and send it to the Facebook game, where water is limited.
FarmVille 2: Country Escape is available to download for free on iOS, Google Play and now Kindle. The game is supported via premium currency, which is used to speed up tasks around the farm.
