Mobile game developer Game Garden has announced the launch of its latest title, Farmdale. The title allows players to build a "fantasy farm," complete with plants, animals, production facilities, a crafting system and more. From humble beginnings, planting wheat and raising chickens, players will grow their farmland into something to behold, unlocking new crops and animals as they complete quests.
The original farmland is covered with debris, like tree stumps, weeds and mushrooms. Players can remove these items to gather collectibles and coins, but will spend energy for each action they complete. Energy recharges automatically over time, or can be purchased instantly via in-app purchase.
While growing crops results in the production of raw resources, these items can be turned into better items, like animal feed, in the game's production buildings. A feed mill, for instance, can turn three units of wheat into three bags of chicken feed. Over time, players unlock different crafting buildings, capable of creating clothing items, jewelry, food recipes and more, with items available both for selling and for decorating the farm.
As players level up, they'll unlock access to new land expansions and portions of the game's story. Gamers are given access to a free daily spin wheel to encourage continued engagement, and players can purchase premium items using premium currency.
Farmdale is now available to download for free on iOS, Google Play and the Amazon App Store.
