Intimidated by zombies? Get over your fear and use these tips to your advantage.
How do I play Flick Home Run! Zombies?
You're tasked with hitting balls that cross into the strike zone using a swipe of your finger. When it comes to attempting home runs, the best kind of swipe you can use is an upward or up-right sort of swipe. This may decrease the chance of making contact, but when you hit the ball, it'll soar.As you hit the ball, you'll want to try to aim for various obstacles littered throughout each level, including balloons, zombies, a Godzilla-like monster's mouth and others. Doing this will net you additional points, on top of what's earned for the distance that you hit the ball. These can make all the difference in the leaderboards, so be sure to strike as many objects as you can.
One more thing: identify the pitches thrown your way. A guide is available in-game that shows the various types available, from fast balls to trick balls with shadows. Being able to determine them by color will help prepare you to swing. Also, don't hit balls until they come into your zone. Otherwise, you'll automatically earn a strike!
How do I unlock power-ups in Flick Home Run! Zombies?
You'll start out with a basic seeing eye power-up that makes it simpler to know what kind of balls are coming your way, so you can prepare your swing. In addition, you can purchase power-ups and other goods for your batter through the in-game shop. Once bought, you can switch to other power-ups before asking for the next pitch. There are two ways to make purchases. The first is with coins earned throughout the game, mainly by collecting them through the air with your ball and a bonus following your round. If you're impatient, there's also a direct purchase option, which we'll cover below.
It is good to access some of these power-ups, as they guarantee a better chance of scoring home runs and boosting your points. However, it's completely optional, and you'll have plenty of fun with the game's free-to-play set-up.
Do I need to pay for anything in Flick Home Run! Zombies?
If you want to get power-ups right away, yes. You'll have the option to convert gems into coins, but you'll need to buy them first, with purchases ranging from $4.99 to $49.99, which will net you quite a bit. It just depends on how badly you want to hit home runs.To be fair, though, the game provides plenty of ball-hitting fun in its own right, so purchases aren't really necessary to master the physics and rack up a high score. Have fun with it for a few rounds, and then decide what you want to do.
