Mobile game company Storm8 has doubled the size of its gaming network over the past year, with more than 400 million people now playing the company's games worldwide. The company's network continues to expand, via support from fans and its brands including TeamLava, Shark Party and FireMocha.
Since the company's launch five years ago, it has participated in the launch of over 40 games, and has grown to over 50 million monthly active users. These games include TeamLava's Mystery Crimes and Candy Blast Mania, FireMocha's Kingdom Clash and Shark Party's Slots and Bingo titles.
Storm8's own games, including World War and iMobsters add to the variety of its catalog, with titles for casual puzzle fans, or mid-core audiences, and many genres in between.
"Our 250-strong team works hard to ensure that every single game we release exceeds the quality bar that our gaming community expects," says Storm8. "Are we done yet? No way! This year we plan to introduce more new games for both iOS and Android. As we approach a billion game downloads, we will continue to explore new possibilities to deliver compelling and entertaining content."
Storm8 launched its Storm8 Publishing business in late 2013, providing marketing, distribution, support for live operations, monetization and design expertise to third-party game developers looking for a boost.
Its first launch partner, Mad Head Limited, created Tower of Saviors, which was released as War of Dragons for Western audiences late last year, under the FireMocha brand.
