Get ready your swords and armor, and prepare to defend your castle against a horde of enemies, because Forsaken Media's critically acclaimed tower defense cum action hack-and-slash game, Heroes and Castles, is now out on Google Play Store for all Android users.
Heroes and Castles blends the best of two genres: tower defense and action RPG. It's like a dream come true for most mobile gamers. With amazing graphics and an intuitive control scheme, Heroes and Castle has garnered good reviews all around the web when it was released on iOS early last year. While we are still really angry at the developers for taking this long to release the game on Android, let's not pass judgement until we play the game on our devices.
In the game, you need to juggle between upgrading your tower's defenses, fixing the walls around your castle, deploying units around to fight the incoming horde and controlling your own character around the battlefield slashing whatever weapon you are carrying around on the intruders and trespassers. It's definitely a handful and will keep you plenty occupied.
For those of you interested in multiplayer, there is even a co-op mode to make things easier to manage. It's definitely one of those games I kept an eye out when it popped up on the AppStore. I can't wait to try it on my Android device. Get the game here if you're interested.
