Mobile game company DeNA has announced the release of Isolani on iOS devices. The first-person-shooter takes players to the distant future, in a world controlled by robots. Players will complete missions to save fellow survivors, collecting multiple weapons and eliminating robotic enemies in the process.
Isolani relies on virtual joystick controls, as players use a joystick on the left side of the screen to control their character's movement, and can tap and drag on the right side to control the camera. The hero shoots weapons automatically, but players must aim with the camera before taking a shot. Similarly, players can reload weapons manually, or allow the game to take care of it during combat.

Players can choose their favorite weapons before battle, with access to pistols, rifles, shotguns and more. Gamers earn bolts, the game's free currency, by completing missions. This currency can be used to purchase additional weapons, but real-money purchase options are also available.
"With Isolani, we set out to deliver an unforgettable mobile experience for fans of hardcore shooters that combines an immersive, action-laden story with a simple, yet sophisticated touch control scheme," said David Simard, producer at DeNA. "Loaded with suspense, cliffhangers, and twists, Isolani takes the player on a journey that demands their undivided attention."
Isolani is available to download for free on iOS, and will be updated with new episodic content going forward.
