Ruzzle developer MAG Interactive has announced the launch of Ruzzle Adventure, its newest "word find" game on iOS devices. The level-based game sees players finding words among jumbled letter squares, with a specific goal and move limit accompanying each stage.
In Ruzzle Adventure, players tap and drag their finger to create words of varying lengths, with longer words worth more points. One stage may require players to earn a large number of points, while others introduce obstacles like stone or wooden squares, which must be cleared before finishing the level.
While the majority of Ruzzle Adventure's stages can be played at one's own pace, to ensure the best possible words are found on each move, water levels see players racing to avoid water which rises from the bottom of the screen. In these cases, even the shorter words are profitable, as each formed word helps the player climb away from the water.
The game offers multiple boosters and power-ups, like bombs, which are added to the board after finding five or more letter words. These bombs clear whole columns or rows of letter tiles from the board, replacing them with others, and boosting the player's score. Other power-ups include the ability to do a super jump in water levels, or swap letter tiles for new letters, among others.
Gamers earn up to three stars on each level, and can compare their high score with others on the level-specific leaderboards. Users can replay stages indefinitely to increase their high scores or unlock missed stars, but gamers lose lives (which recharge over time) if they fail to earn at least one star on every level.

Ruzzle Adventure is available to download for free on iOS. The game is currently featured as an Editor's Choice on iTunes.
