If you are a massive Adventure Time fan, I'm definitely sure you'd be extremely interested in getting this game, especially because it's based on the card wars game that was featured in Adventure Time Card Wars episode!
The best way to describe this game for people who aren't fans of the show, is that it is basically a combination of Pokemon cards and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. In my opinion, it's a really aweome mix.
In Card Wars, there are creatures, buildings, landscapes and magic cards. You start by playing all of your landscape cards onto the table which will total in four different landscapes. Then you can assign one creature to each landscape, and then the creatures will appear in a stylish 3D effect, which looks really cool. The creatures will attack and defend for you against the opposing player. You can also use magic cards for more power, and even build buildings.
The game even features original voice actors from the show! The only negative part about the game, is that there's a Candy Crush type energy meter thing, where if you run out of hearts, you'll have to wait about 15 minutes to play the game again. This is where in app purchases (IAP) come in. You can buy lots of things with real money. Even though there is IAP in the game, it doesn't mean it is needed to finish the game. This is just a really stupid feature because Card Wars is a paid app and why should you spend more money, when you already have paid for it?
I'm really enjoying the game, not only because I am a fan of the show, but also because it requires a little strategy, it's simple and fun and I loved Pokemon cards. Get Card Wars – Adventure Time here!
