Avoiding long and arduous battles
We experienced randomly generated enemy pig groups that will prove to be very difficult to be beat. It's best to avoid a long battle that could hinder your chances of maximizing loot.If you just started the battle and see a group of pigs that can potentially be a problem, back out to the nest to get the proper load out. Good Angry Birds Epic players know when they should regroup and return.
Setting up the flock for the next wave of pigs
You're about to wrap up a wave of pigs before taking out the last pig, so prepare your team for the unforeseen battle. Power-up your flock with Bomb's ARRR! buff, or take the opportunity to heal the team with Matilda's Regrowth. Preparing your team for what lies ahead gives you an advantage over the next wave.Keeping your attack damage high will help you beat the wave faster. Having more HP will increase your chances of getting more loot due to taking low damage. The combination of high bird health and beating a round quickly will help you get three stars.
Don't be afraid to stack power-ups
Stacking power-ups is the best way to keep your team in the game. You'll find yourself in situations where you can't avoid damage from an enemy pig. Don't just stand there and get beat up. Make the damage count for something. Cast Healing Shield with Cleric Matilda, and Aura of Fortitude with the Guardian to protect and heal the flock. If you want to make the pigs pay, have Mage Chuck cast Shock Shield on a targeted bird before they attack to make them regret it.Identify Class combinations for different situations
Knowing what Class combinations to use is important for fighting tougher opponents. Go Heavy with Samurai, Pirate and Trickster to really put the pigs in the pen. This combination utilizes Red Bird, equipped with Scratching Lance and Shell Banner. Bomb with Red Fist and Mad Mojo.Trickster's equipped with Bow and Warhorn. Red Bird's load out allows him to cast Defensive Formation for protection from pigs to absorb damage. Bomb, our heavy hitter, increases the flock's attack power by 25 percent while dishing out damage over 100 HP.
Trickster increases the flock's attack power by 10 percent and removes positive effects from pigs with his bow. This strategy allows us to power-up our flock and support them with a shield while keeping the pigs from getting the upper hand. There's added benefit to having Trickster and Bomb on the same team because you can double stack attack power.
