Kabam is no stranger to presenting awesome role-playing experiences, and Wartune: Hall of Heroes is easily one of its best. You choose from three different characters (knight, archer or mage) and then set out to battle all sorts of enemies while leveling up and taking advantage of the awesome action/strategy-based combat. Better equipment will cost you some real money, but the main game is free to try and quite addictive.

Battleheart Legacy (Mika Mobile, $4.99)

This isometric adventure brings the retro style of role-playing games to mobile. In Battleheart Legacy, you'll tackle a real-time combat system while honing new skills (over 150 in all) and picking up a variety of weapons and tools. You'll need to master them all, as the thunderous boss battles will definitely put you to the test. This one's for the old-schoolers.
