How do you play as the Autobots in Transformers: Age of Extinction?
There are six different Autobots to choose from in the game. They include Optimus Prime, Hound, Drift, Grimlock, Bumblebee and Crosshairs. The characters are rated on three categories: Hit Points, Melee and Ranged. Each Autobot has different ratings for each category. The aptly named Crosshairs, for example, has a better ranged skill than melee, and Bumblebee has a more all-around rating. There are also two different versions of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee with different color schemes and skills.Bumblebee is the only character unlocked to start the game. Cargo Packs can be purchased using the Energon Packs, which you receive as rewards for killing enemies and completing missions. The most common Energon is Blue. Green Energon Packs, however, are uncommon, and Rare Energon Packs (as the name implies) are rare. The rarer the packs used to buy Cargo, the better the gear. Gear can also be upgraded and leveled up using Energon Shards that you get after each mission. You can also buy Cyber Credits that can be used to acquire rare gear. It's important to kill as many enemies as possible, not only because it's a mission objective, but you also want to earn a better score and get more Energon Packs and Shards. Changing into a car is important during specific moments because the missions are timed and the enemies are spread out. This will allow you to cover more ground and kill more enemies.
