The developers of the long running and popular MMORPG game Runescape,
Jagex have announced that a new game titled Chronicle: Runscape Legends
will be headed onto the Android sometime in 2015. This game is a CCG
title and it will take place within the Runescape universe.
Even
though that there are a lot of CCG titles already available for
Android, the concept behind Chronicle: Runscape Legends is quite
interesting. How interesting you ask? Well the game itself will be
played out within the pages of a living book which will focus on quest
building, which will allow players to craft their own miniature RPGs,
that can be used against enemies, this will include the classic
RuneScape boss monsters, before entering into PvP combat.
“We’ve
been quietly developing Chronicle: RuneScape Legends since the start of
the year to ensure that it’s not only a fun and compelling player
experience, but one still very much interwoven into the rich lore
of RuneScape. We’re looking forward to sharing more information on the
game over the coming months, especially in regards to Chronicle’s debut
on tablet and mobile!” - James Sweatman, lead designer
There
may be not much details surrounding the game right now, but as we get
closer to the game’s release date we will be sure to post more
information. All we know is that the game will be released sometime next
year, 2015
