Sketchman Review

Sketchman in a way very similar to the game Canabalt, where you are constantly running and you have to get as far as you can. The game does not have much a story, just one objective and that is staying alive. Of course doing so will not be easy as there will be red-colored obstacles in your way such as spiked platforms, and spinning saw blades, that try to take Sketchman down. You are also armed with a gun, and your gun can also be upgraded as you progress further into the game.
The game's controls are simple, on the lower left side of your screen is your jump button, tap once to make you jump, and tap twice for a double jump, and on the lower right side of you screen is you shoot button, don't worry about wasting bullets, your gun has unlimited shots, so fire away, and those red-colored obstacles can be shot down too.

The graphics will grab you attention right away. Not because they are the most hi res, highly detailed character models that you have ever seen. But because Sketchman is a game that stars a stick figure man in a world that looks like it was scribbled on a A4 piece of paper. It gives the game a very unique look that makes it stand out from the pack. What is really cool about the games presentation is despite it looking like it was drawn by some guy on his lunch break. The environments, characters and everything else is very well designed. Make no mistake about it Sketchman is a great looking game. And it just goes to show that you do not need a high polygon count and ultra realistic facial animations to have a good looking game.
Sketchman also has missions, much like Subway Surfers. The missions well let you  speed up the rate at which you collect coins, with completion of some being worth thousands of coins. And Like most endless runners, Sketchman features an extensive collection of purchasable upgrades, including six increasingly powerful weapons players can unlock. It would be nice to see some more customizable items to open, as well as some other areas with more colorful, detailed color scheme than the clean-but-simplistic doodle visuals of Sketchman.
I've had an absolute blast playing Sketchman, it is fun, addictive, and best part of all it is free at the Google Play Store, and if I had one bad thing to say about this game it is this, some of the missions are near impossible.
