Puzzlers come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes they're full of gems, sometimes candy, and sometimes balls. The aptly titled Red Ball Roll is of the latter and it's been met with good reviews.
The game stars Roll the Ball doing what he does best – rolling. You control him through 45 levels using either the gyro controls of your phone or the touch screen, collecting stars and keys to advance to the next level.
Levels are imaginative and often full of traps like springs, false walls, ice and spikes. The player must either work around these hazards or use them to your advantage. It's a simple concept, but later levels get pretty hectic and require some quick thinking and maneuvering.
The game's developer, Azumad, has already released a steady stream of highly rated, free apps (and I don't mean "free-to-play with in-app purchases.)
We recommend you give Red Ball Roll a try. The physics based level design is sure to entertain even the most jaded of players – and the nonexistent price tag doesn't hurt either.
