Bladelords: Fighting Revolution Cheats And Tips

If you're a fan of arcade-style fighting games like the SoulCalibur series, then Playsoft's Bladelords: Fighting Revolution is a must play. This brawler features exquisite graphics, produced with Unreal Engine technology, and a quick fighting style that rookies and veterans will easily adapt to. The only thing you have to get used to is the free-to-play structure, which can be pretty costly.
You won't be that brutalized, however. With some help from us, you'll be a master in no time.

How do I play Bladelords: Fighting Revolution?

The game is structured along the same lines as SoulCalibur. You unlock fighters through buying them in the main menu, then you engage in a series of battles against foes, including typical enemies and bosses. As you proceed, you'll earn coins, which you can turn around to buy upgrades for your current character, or unlock others.
Keep in mind, though, that the game works on a charge meter. You use up a charge each time you fight against an opponent, and once you run out, you can either wait for it to refill (like an hour or two), or pay a few gold coins to fill it right back up. The choice is yours.
The combat system features light and heavy attacks, as well as a special move that can be executed once enough orbs fill up in your energy meter. They only take four seconds to recharge, but it never hurts to have an extra on hand if it looks like your opponent may get the jump on you.

How do upgrades work in Bladelords: Fighting Revolution?

As you earn more coins from fights, you'll be able to buy upgrades for your character. These are located on different parts of the body, including armor and power, depending on what you want to upgrade first. Extra armor is always nice to have, but being stronger can help you get through a fight as well. It never hurts to bulk up in battle.
In addition, you can unlock new fighters with coins, although some of them cost quite a bit. Shop around and figure out which ones you want to go after, then save up and unlock them. By doing so, you'll be able to enter more fights and earn even more money.
As always, if you can't wait that long, you can buy coins with a secondary in-app purchase to unlock everything.

How do I build combos in Bladelords: Fighting Revolution?

The fighting works along the same lines as SoulCalibur, as you can combine light and heavy hits into multi-hit strikes, or combos to make your opponent weaker. Doing this will also earn you the ability to strike with an Ultra attack, in which you can hit the enemy multiple times, and even take them out if they're weak enough. Save these for when you really need them, though.

Do I need to pay for anything in Bladelords: Fighting Revolution?

At one point or another, you probably will. It cost coins to unlock fighters, refill your energy bar and pay for heftier upgrades for your brawler, and they cost anywhere from $0.99 (for a starter pack) to $17.99 (for an "XL" amount of coins). We suggest trying the game first and seeing if it's something that you feel would be worth the investment. After all, there's not even direct multiplayer, only leaderboards for the best fighting time.
