Dizzy Fruit iPad Review

Simplicity and addictiveness are two qualities that turned some mobile games into overnight sensations. Most people who only have a few minutes to play a game don't want to be bogged down with something complicated. On that note, Dizzy Fruit is a fun and addicting game that will test your mind.

The Good

Dizzy Fruit is a matching and memory game. It starts out by showing you a random fruit. Then another fruit comes onto the screen and you need to answer yes or no. The game keeps showing you different fruit until you are out of time or you get the answer wrong. The game starts off very simply, but will speed up in no time. It's a test of your memory and reflexes. The goal is to try and get the highest score possible and share it with your friends and the world.
There are many different fruit in the game, like apples, bananas, melons, cherries and more, all with dizzied faces (hence the name). Many fruits have similar shapes or colors, which makes the player really focus on which fruit they are looking at and concentrate on what they last saw. The time element forces you to make a split second decision, though, so you can't think for too long. The game is very addictive, and you will play many times trying to build up your high score. It's a simple and fun game for anyone.

The Bad

Dizzy Fruit is very limited in terms of options. There are no unlockables, story or different game modes. Once you get beyond trying to get a high score, there is little else to enjoy.

The Verdict

Dizzy Fruit is a fun and addictive memory game that features bright colors and is simple to play. It is a challenge for people of any age, though the lack of options may eventually kill its long term appeal.
