Pako – Car Chase Simulator Review

The police have you trapped, no where to go. You have to drive, but there is no escape. How long do you last, before the cops catch you?

Pako is a car chase simulator made my Tree Men Games. The game is a “highscore hunt” game for Android. The game is very simple. Drive as long as you can without getting caught by the cops. The game counts the seconds you can last. If a police car hits you, then your car explodes and then it’s game over. The same goes for you if you hit obstacles like light poles, houses and other cars. The game is super easy to learn and fun as well. However, it can be really hard in the beginning. There is only two control buttons in the game. They are for steering left and right. Since there is no control for braking, the game may seem hard. Something that I thought was incredibly annoying in the beginning, was the face pace the cars moved in. It would be nice to have an option to brake, but that would only take away the fun in the game for later parts.

Pako is made with unity, making the game run flawless. The design throughout the game is rather impressive than what I would expect from the developers first game. The soundtrack fits the game perfect, giving it an action/pumped up vibe. The perspective in the game is from a news helicopter, which I though was really awesome. While you drive, you can see the “breaking news” in the left corner. While you are driving, the little “news info” below the gameplay, will sometimes show how many police cars have crashed during your attempt to escape.

Pako has 5 different levels, with 5 different cars for each map. There is “Mall”, “Suburbia”, “Cemetery”, “Highway” and “Square”. Each having their own levels of difficulty. For example, in the Cemetery, there are zombies who walk around trying to get to you. If you hit them, you get 1 extra second to your current score. In Square, you drive a rickshaw, whilst dodging tanks who try to shoot you!

Pako is a fun mobile game you can play on the go. The game boots up fast, and there is little loading time, so the game is perfect to play when you have little time to do so. Get Pako – Car Chase Simulator for free.
