GunFinger Review

Resident Evil, Night of the Living Dead, The Walking Dead, what do these three things have in common? They all feature zombies and, Pixel Toys’,  GunFinger has lots of them. So in case you haven’t figured it out, GunFinger is an arcade shooter that features zombies. Now mind you, zombie shooter are not exactly new, in terms of theme but this gmae does offer some fresh ideas, along with shooting zombie fun.GunFinger is a pretty straight-forward shooter, the game is composed of different tasks, such as clearing out an area, grabbing ammo, and you will go through some practice drills, to help you master you aiming skills. When you first play the game, you find out that a farm have been over-run by green-skinned zombies, and long with a local farmer, and his plaid-shirt, dasiy duke, hot blonde daughter, they will be helping you out, they will walk you through the game’s basics, and give you some tips as well to help you survive.

The game’s shooting mechanics are as easy as tapping the target, yes this game has no complicated targeting system, all you do is put your finger on where you want the bullet to go and tap to shoot, yes folks its that easy. At times you may have to zoom at your target, so all you will have to do is aim and press at your target, and when the target is in your sight, release your finger. Each level that you play you’ll have one weapon available, which has unlimited ammo, and some missions will allow you hold two, but swapping weapons in this game is automatic. And to reload your gun simply swipe on the lower left of your screen.

When you progress further into the game, you’ll find out that in order to play the other levels you will need to upgrade your weapon, but keep in mind that each mission will have a pre-set weapon for you, so there will be no need to decide which weapon you need to take with you. Now I don’t have a problem with upgrading my weapons, the problem with this is, upgrading a weapon or weapons is not only time consuming but expensive too. The good news about all this is you can still use your weapon as its upgrading.

If you have a love for zombie-shooter game, then you would want to give GunFinger a go. The game’s controls just feel right, you have many weapons to use and upgrade, and lots of zombies to kill, the game also features a slow-motion kill cam, that goes into effect when you place a well-place head shot. My only issue with the game were the pesky energy system, and the upgrading of weapons are time consuming and expensive, but again these are just minor issues that don’t hurt the game . I do have to say that Pixel Toys have done good to satisfy any zombie-shoot fan. You can download GunFinger for free at the Google Play Store. Have Fun and Happy Gaming Gamers
