There are over 300 puzzles in the game.
Each one starts out with a grid of draggable letters and an incomplete word.
At the top, a list of associated hints - synonyms, antonyms, or generally related words - are listed for assistance.
Only one hint is displayed at first. The less hints you use in any given round, the more points you get.
Excellent Connection is free. The only downside is the use of both banner and pop-up ads throughout the game.
