Brave Heroes Review

I’ve always had a soft spot for RPG games, not to sure what makes RPG’s like this game so addicting. Whether if it’s the eye-catching graphics or putting those long hours leveling up, or great story line, but whatever it is, Brave Heroes does have a great combination of RPG elements and simple gameplay.
You’ll have the option to choose from 3 heroes. The Near hero, who is a red knight, that uses a large red sword to take down enemies. Has a strong defence and lots of HP. Next is the Distance hero, who uses a bow and arrow, which she uses distance in her attacks. With the use of rapid attacks and speed, this makes her quick and nimble. And last but not least we have our Mage hero, who uses magic based attacks to eliminate the enemy. Whoever you choose between the 3 heroes, they all have different abilities and unique skills.
BRAVE HEROES REVIEW
When you’ve chosen you hero, you’ll start off with a step-by-step (which is like 13-16 steps) tutorial. Once passed that, it’s off to play the game. Your hero will have 3 forms of attack, now I have chosen the knight. So you’ll have your basic auto-attack just move in close enough of the enemy until they attack, and two other attacks, which the player has to tap the icon, which is located under your HP bar, in order to see them to play out. Now whomever you choose all attacks is different.
This is a 2D side scrolling, medieval themed, tower assault game.  The objective of the game is to move right, hit, and defeat enemies until you reach the enemy base, or as I like to say just “hit, defeat, and repeat”. That’s all there is to it. Now I guess the developers, Com2uS was trying to come up with something unique because the base look like a large snake with wings.
Now I have a few problems that I ran into while playing Brave Heroes. A time limit, why is there a time limit. Never in the history of playing RPG games has there been a time limit for completing a level. If you are strong enough to finish a level, getting through will only take less than a minute or two. Seriously there was no need to add that. The levels, they ALL look the same, 10 different levels and no change in environment. Now it just leads me to this last problem that I have money, yes its costs money to do a lot in this game. I do understand that items, and supplies and buying other heroes in this game will cost you. But to summon you’re other heroes that you’ve added to use in battle costs you. They’ll cost up 500 coins. And another thing how come it cost you money to heal yourself? Now that’s just crazy.
Overall Brave Heroes is a decent game; despite all the levels looking the same the visuals are rich and solid. Great sound effects and music is right on with the medieval theme. I do like the fact that and if you decide to start a new game, you can start with the use of a different hero, which it does give a fresh experience to the game. Unfortunately I find that there is not enough replay value to make me want to start another game. But if you feel that Brave Heroes maybe your thing or just want to give it a go, it’s free to download at the google play store.
