As the name implies Airport Scanner puts the player in control and in charge of operating an X-RAY scanner, working for the “Transportation Security Administration” TSA.
Now as bags of luggage make their way onto the luggage belt and through the scanner, you have to identify the illegal items such as crossbows, crowbars, and pistols. A list will be shown to you at the start of the level.
To get rid of the items just simply tap on them, and you will see security grab the passenger and kick him or her along with the luggage out of the airport. When you do remove the item, swipe them of the belt to get points added to your score. As you are trying to do all this you have to make sure that you keep the line moving as you get passengers on the plane before time runs out.
Sure it sounds simple and plays simple. But at times it can be tough, as things start to get really get crazy when the luggage belt is moving too fast. And sometimes slowing the belt down can to more harm than good, if you hold it down to long. By all means some of the levels are not impossible to pass, but by having a careful balance of speed and accuracy makes the level challenging.
Finishing a level successfully will earn you cash, which can be used to purchase items like a new X-RAY machine, and new upgrades for your scanner. There is also a fun bonus game that allows you to punish passengers for money.
Overall, Airport Scanner with its silly cartoonish arcade game that is fun, addictive, and a great time passer to play. There are tons of stuff to buy, and achievements to earn. I’ve been enjoying this game thoroughly and I still am.
