Frozen Free Fall Cheats And Tips

Frozen Free Fall is a modified version of the match three puzzle game, built around the popular animated Disney movie of the same name. You'll team with characters from the film, utilizing their power-ups as you attempt to build as high a score as possible.
Here are some tips to make you shine, just like Olaf.

How do special pieces work in Frozen Free Fall?

There are three types to watch out for. The first are the center glowing pieces, which activate when you line up four icons in one shot. By using these in a match-up, they'll eliminate whole rows or columns of pieces, making them drop down so you can match new ones.
The second are the frozen pieces, which activate when you line up five icons in a row. Once you match these up, they'll freeze all the puzzle pieces within a nine-block grid, and smash them to pieces, allowing others to drop in.
Finally, there are the snowflakes, which occur when you match up five pieces in a T-like shape or something similar. By activating these, they'll spin around and eliminate like-colored pieces on the board, causing others to drop down in their place.

How do character power-ups work in Frozen Free Fall?

Character power-ups vary depending on who you're playing with. Anna, for example, provides a torch that can burn eight interconnecting pieces together once you choose the option. Her sister Emma, meanwhile, provides snowflakes, which serve the same effect as the general snowflake pieces.
When you're first introduced to these power-ups, you can only use them a couple of times. However, there's an option that opens up to purchase them through an in-game app, in case you want to use them more often.

How does the three-tier goal system work in Frozen Free Fall?

It's similar to other match-three games like Farm Rescue Saga and Candy Crush Saga. You have to meet a certain score to earn the first star in the game, usually around 60,000 or so. From there, you can continue building combos, or moving key pieces to the bottom of the board to add extra points, earning a second or third star in the process.

How does the Free Fall option work in Frozen Free Fall?

If you have any unused special pieces on the board by the end of the round, and you meet at least the one-star goal, a special Free Fall round will take place where they go off, adding to your overall score. This is a great way to build pieces together, as you combine power-ups for even more devastating effects on the board. The row/column eliminator, for example, can be teamed up with the freezing power-up to take out three whole rows or columns, instead of just one.
Try to save as many power-ups as you can for the Free Fall finish, because this is where most of your points will generate.

Do I need to pay for anything in Frozen Free Fall?

Eventually. The game's later levels do get tough, and you only have five hearts to play with, which act as turns. You can wait for them to refill over time, or pay $0.99 to fill them back up. We suggest waiting.
Other options include buying power-ups, such as a small pack of ice picks (which eliminate single pieces on the board) or something else. These power-ups vary from $0.99 to $2.99. They're good if you have a particular favorite character from the film, but you'll be able to get through most of the game without them. Just be careful with later levels, though. They can be quite difficult.
