Dungeon Highway Cheats And Tips

Dungeon Highway is a slick little endless running game that utilizes 3D graphics surrounding cool little 8-bit-style retro sprites. It's not all looks, though - there's a real challenge here. In the game, you guide a warrior down an endless path, dodging walls and structures while shooting enemies and collecting occasional power-ups to help him along.
Don't die! Here are some tips that will help you out.

How does the gameplay work in Dungeon Highway?

It's a pretty simple set-up, actually. You guide your character by tiling your device left and right. It's kind of sensitive, so be careful when it comes to how much you tilt. You can tap anywhere on the screen to shoot little flame balls, which will destroy enemies that get in your way. They have no effect on walls, however, so avoid those the best you can.

What's the best way to get a high score in Dungeon Highway?

Honestly, it's just a matter of keeping your eyes open. Small gaps are available to pass through between the walls and structures, so prep for those as best as you can. You can also fire numerous shots in a row, so if you see a string of enemies coming your way, don't hesitate to fire like crazy. Running into either a solid structure or an enemy will result in the death of your character, so maneuver carefully and don't be afraid to fire away.

How do power-ups work in Dungeon Highway?

There are several items you can pick up in the game, encased in bubbles that will pass right by you if you're not careful. There are four in general you'll really want to watch out for.
The Yellow jar will help you increase in size. This will double your character's girth and allow him to take one hit before they return back to their normal size.
The Blue jar temporarily provides you with a spread shooting power-up. This is great if you want to eliminate multiple enemies at once.
The Arrow shaped power-up gives you increased firepower for a limited amount of time. Use it when you want to clear the way in a hurry, faster than you would with your normal torch capabilities.
Finally, the Grey jar will slow down time for a few seconds, giving you the chance to catch up with your footing, should the game move a little too fast for you.
There are others, but these four will serve you the best.

What modes are available in Dungeon Highway?

There are three. Normal pretty much speaks for itself, with simple pacing and objects that gradually increase as you go along. Next up is Hardcore, which is much more difficult, with even more objects and enemies to deal with. Finally, Daily Challenge changes every 24 hours, with new level terrain to take on, and the opportunity to earn a new high score. The game doesn't support leaderboards, but it's great for local bragging rights.

Do I have to pay for anything in Dungeon Highway?

Nope. The game is completely free to play with each run through, and there's no need to pay for additional power-ups or anything like that. It's definitely worth the download.
