Flag is a phone and tablet app that prints your photos and mails them to you, your family or friends, for free. Yes, you read that right. For free.
Some developers in Los Angeles have been developing "Flag" for three years now. They are a small team consisting of only three people so naturally, to finish their app, they turned to Kickstarter for help from us, the community. The app Flag, let's you choose 20 pictures in a month, print and mail them to you for free. What about shipping? Totally free! But how can it be totally free? The thing is, the back of the pictures will have an ad. Yes, advertisements behind your pictures, lovely. Anyways, it is totally free, of course there were going to be a little catch.
Right now, Flag has $26,200 pledged of their $100,000 goal. If this is going to be a success or not, I can't say anything for certain. It sounds like a good idea though, and I bet many people would use this app if they finish it. In my opinion, it sounds too good to be true.
