The new game will sport the same name as the movie. Now unlike past Marvel games, this one will be a 2D side scroller. And it will focus on the same story line as the film, we could also expect too, that this game will be more of a action type game.
For those of you who don’t know, the Days of Future Past story arc came out in the Uncanny X-men issues #141 and #142, published in 1980. It deals with a dystopian future in which mutants are incarcerated in internment camps. An adult Kate Pryde transfers her mind into her younger self, the present-day Kitty Pryde, who brings the X-Men to prevent a fatal moment in history that triggers anti-mutant hysteria. Kinda trippy eh Bub?
Uncanny X-Men: Days of Future Past is expect to be released in May, which will be the same month that the movie will be hitting theaters.
