Here are some tips that will help you fare during your time on the field.
How does the gameplay work in Ted Ginn: Kick Return?
It's simple - you draw the route that you want your player to take down the field. You'll need to pick up the ball first as it's kicked to you, so wait for it to make its way to your player first. From there, guide your player down the route you want to take.
When it comes to finding open routes at first, look for gaps in the defense. They're usually easy to spot on the left or right hand side. Sometimes you can also run behind a blocker to give you a clear route to the end zone.
Can you change the route of your run in Ted Ginn: Kick Return?
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that way. Even if you draw a completely new route for your player, he'll continue to follow the same one you initially drew. So make sure you plan your first run accordingly before you take it, or you could be out some points.
How does point scoring work in Ted Ginn: Kick Return?
If you make it to the end zone on your run, you'll score seven points for your team. If you don't quite make it, but still manage to get past the 50 yard line, you'll earn three points as a field goal bonus. Anywhere below that, and you'll get no points.
The game ends in a matter of seconds, so you'll want to get as many points as you can in that time, making sure you outscore your opponents.
How do you earn money in Ted Ginn: Kick Return?
You can earn money by winning games against teams. At first, you don't earn too much - about $50 per rookie contest - but as you get against tougher teams, the payday picks up significantly, and you could soon be earning over $1,000 a game, if you're good enough.
There's also an option to purchase cash with an in-app purchase, which we'll cover later on.
Can you customize your team in Ted Ginn: Kick Return?
At the moment, the only item you can customize with your team is its name, but you can call it whatever you want. Other team customization options are coming soon, but no release date has been given.
What can you buy with in-game cash in Ted Ginn: Kick Return?
There are various options available. With a steady cash flow, you can sign returners and blocking crews through free agency. Kickers range in price, with Ted Ginn himself costing the most at $23,700. Blockers, meanwhile, range from $2,500 to $85,900, depending on power and size. You'll start with the Big Bears, who are pretty good, but if you're serious about playing, you'll want to upgrade soon.
In addition, you can use in-game cash to buy premium equipment for your blockers and returner. Blockers can get new gear to improve their power and size (by about 2 to 4 points apiece), while returners can buy gear to increase agility, speed and power (around 2 points apiece). However, from what we've seen, these don't make too much of a different on gameplay, so improve upon your squad in the free agency first.
Do I have to pay for anything in Ted Ginn: Kick Return?
If you want to get anywhere, sadly, yes. Most of the premium equipment costs big bucks, which you'll have a hard time earning in the very beginning. You can buy cash in the game via in-app purchases - honestly though, we can only recommend this if you're a true die-hard fan of the game. Otherwise, pass...even though you're a runner.
