The Google Play Store has many apps and games for any user to choose from, and with the many games to choose from, its hard to play and review them all. And puzzlers on Android devices are 'dime a dozen'. So if you are a game developer, that is planning to release another puzzle game, you need to come up with a new and fresh idea, or take an idea from an old game and just tweak it (Hey it worked for Angry Birds). Now when I was at the Google Play Store I came upon this game titled Compulsive. It is a relatively simple set up with a user friendly interface, it is also a tricky puzzler, with plenty to offer the player endless hours of addictive fun. And believe me this game will take up hours of your time.
Compulsive when you first play it, may look like a carbon copy of Tetris, but I assure you that it is not. The name of the game here is color matching. You will have multi-colored blocks that will appear on-screen, then you will have to tap, and drag them where ever you want to. To sum it up for you the objective of the game is to match-4 blocks of the same color. You have the freedom to tap and drag the block where ever you see fit. What I love about this game is that matching colored tiles is not only simple and fun, but it is very addictive. At times when you do match 4 blocks of the same color, you will spark a long running chain that will continue to clear out the game board, all on its own.
There three modes of play in Compulsive. First there is Arcade mode; you have a 60 second timer that counts down as you try and race to get as many combo as you can, to give yourself a high score. And you can also log in to your Facebook and Google Plus account and share your scores with you friends. Then the second mode you have is Strategy; you do not have to worry about time counting down here, in this mode you are given 30 moves to get a high score, and then there is the Zen mode, now mind you to open up this mode you must achieve the Addiction and High Dosage award, and when you do open this mode, you do not have to worry about a timer or moves, because you have total freedom to play as long as you want to.
