High School Story developer Pixelberry Studios has released its high school simulation game on Kindle devices. Already available on iOS and Android, High School Story allows players to build the high school of their dreams, completing dozens of story missions that introduce players to all kinds of students, from preps and jocks to slackers and even the homecoming queen.
In late 2013, Pixelberry Studios partnered with cyberbullying charity Cybersmile to raise awareness about cyberbullying in a series of themed quests. While completing these quests, users were introduced to Cybersmile, and its ability to help at-risk and bullied teens. Since the partnership launched, High School Story has grown to direct over 100 teen cyberbullying victims to professional counselors each week.

"Engaging with our players about important issues like cyberbullying has been a very rewarding and humbling experience," said Pixelberry's CEO Oliver Miao. "We're excited to offer Kindle players a new and fun game that also might help them through some of the difficult phases of growing up."
Pixelberry has also raised over $200,000 in donations for Cybersmile to date. Players donated these funds by purchasing themed items for their games and students, with the running total nearly doubling the company's original donation goal.
