Glu Mobile announces development of James Bond mobile game
Game developer and publisher Glu Mobile has announced its partnership with EON Productions and MGM Interactive to create a free-to-play mobile game based on the James Bond film franchise. The game will be available to worldwide audiences, and across multiple mobile platforms, but isn't scheduled for release until Summer 2015.
"Bond offers a deep catalogue of thematic inspiration for gaming. We are honored by the opportunity to be the first to bring such a storied franchise to free-to-play mobile gaming," said Niccolo de Masi, CEO of Glu Mobile. "We look forward to delivering a never before seen gameplay experience on mobile for the passionate worldwide community of Bond fans."
Glu's Bond game is inspired by the franchise's large film history, as well as its many characters and themes. Given its early state, additional details about the game are still under wraps.
