So it has been a while since I did a zombie game review, and I was just browsing the Google play store a few days ago when I found a game titled Zombie Diary: Survival. And I was actually quite impressed with this game. Please read on fellow gamers. When you first start off this game you will notice that it has some similarities to the game Zombie Ville. It does have a similar look and feel to it but believe me this game is not Zombie Ville. When you do first play you will have a map on the screen and four locations; Prison , Street , Cemetery , and Laboratory. But you can't just tap on any of the four locations though, you have to tap on an icons in order to play, and depending on where the icon is that the location you play in, take for instance you have an icon located in the Prison, that the area where you will play. You will have different icons to tap on and each of them represents a different type of mission. The crosshair icon means you have to shoot a number of zombies before you can clear the mission. Take for instance if you goal is to kill 40 zombies then you have to kill 40 zombies without dying in order to pass the level. Then you have a running man icon, in this one you will be given a certain amount of meters to run, now for example you have run 20 meters you simply go right until you meter counter reaches zero, now mind you it may sound easy but not so much when you have hordes of zombies coming left and right coming your way. Then you have icon that look like a stop watch, you have to survive the zombie attack within the given time until it reaches zero. Then you have a green icon, I actually like this one because its not really a mission, but play more like a bonus money round, and that what exactly what it is. You'll shoot the zombies as the come at you and you'll get money for each kill. Zombie Diary has different types of zombies in the game. You have you slow walkers, then you have your cheer-leader looking type they move quite fast, then you have you professor type they usually take two hits which I find odd, a professor zombie that takes two hits, then you have a professor but this time he has a bucket on his head, and he usually take a couple of hit before he dies. Then you have you exploding zombies. Now these are the common types that you will see early in the game, there are more types as you progress further into the game. The game does offer guns to unlock and you can use you in-game currency to buy different types of guns such as a Desert Eagle , Micro Uzi, and an AK47 just to name a few. Some guns and other weapons such as a Light Saber require you to buy them with the diamonds you also collect playing the game. But you have to have a lot of diamonds to purchase them, you can buy diamond but you will need to fork out your own cash to buy them. You can also purchase different character each with their own strengths and weaknesses. And another cool feature is that you can buy different mechs, the only downside is they only last for a minute or two. | |||
