Angry Birds Star Wars II Review

When you first play Angry Birds Star Wars II you'll notice that the game is set during the events of "The Phantom Menace, episode I".  So once again you will be "forced" to catapult different characters from within the Star Wars universe , and smash through structures, and defeat different enemies. So getting ready to fire up your lightsabers, and brush up on your force powers cause you are going to need them to defeat the empire.

For those who have played the first Angry Birds Star Wars or any Angry Birds game out in the market, the game play in the sequel plays pretty much like the first. So they have their original physics game based on land scenes within the films, and they've thrown in their new Space levels every now and then.
It is good to know that characters from the first game ; Luke Skywalker , Han Solo , Princess Leia , Chewbacca , and the beloved droids R2-D2, and C-3PO all make an appearance in the sequel, and you will also get a change to fling these characters via catapult. Each of these character have their own special abilities. What I found interesting in which Rovio what kind enough to add is the grappling hook.
Angry Birds Star Wars II always presents the player with plenty of options with the different levels, you have exploding boxes , and different positioned beams, giving the player the freedom of choice in terms of destruction. Player will play different levels in different environments in space , on ground , and underwater. And the levels that you'll play all look absolutely gorgeous. Beside the game looking and playing great, the game sound great too. The classic sounds effect of authentic blasters, and the sound of lightsaber effects never seem to get old. A lot of the Star Wars universe is carefully imported into the game such as the fonts, scene transitions, and pause menus….all tweaked with the Star Wars like style.
Whether you're a Jedi or not doesn't matter because this game is setup with excellent classic gameplay elements.  There's a collectors page where you will be able to see all the characters and items you've unlocked.  Several levels are packaged within multiple stages of Tattoine, the Death Star, Path of the Jedi and Golden Egg levels.  Also, as you play the stars you attain will allow you to unlock the next levels. The one thing that is different is that they're much more explicit about asking for money to unlock Path of the Jedi.

Angry Birds Star Wars II is fun and addicting , with a bit of frustration  thrown in. It is just as good as the first game.  It is $1.00 at the Google play store.
