Stick Tennis Review

When you first play this game you will have a small tutorial, called the "practise rounds" .At the tennis club you get a timing meter on the left of  the screen which helps you to sharpen up your game. But in general the best training is simple – play the game, score the points, and win. Sometimes you have to wait to play a killer shot, at other times you have  to swipe for dear life in order to stay in a fast-and-furious rally,  particularly when receiving serve from a top player. As you go up the levels the difference  between returning a first and second serve becomes noticeable – with the former  you are simply trying to react, with the other placing and timing the shot for  maximum effect.
Stick Tennis for Android is a remarkably intuitive to play tennis game, holding your Android device with one hand and swiping with the forefinger of the other. It's almost like playing Wii Tennis.  Aggressive play is rewarded, as is moving your opponent about the court. In fact  the only aspect of the game that doesn't ring entirely true is that we found it  easier to win points when returning serve than when serving.
  • There are also different game mode and they are:
    - The Casual Sets 'training mode'
    - Word Domination
    - Daily Challenge
    - And 'The Slams', including countries; USA, England, France and Australia
The only free modes in the game are the 'Casual Sets' which are like your training rounds, 'Daily Challenge' matches and four matches in 'Word Domination. In World Domination it's you versing the words best players, the game includes Tennis legends such as: John McEnroe, Pat Rafter, Rod Laver, Martina Hingis, Steffi Graf, Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras just to name a few.
And each 'Slams' tournament does include 32 matches. And current Tennis players, you can either play as them or go against them. Including favorites: Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Caroline Wozniacki, Serena Williams. And while all these Tennis players are cartoon stick figures in the game, there is are slight resemblances to looks and game play.
Now the game may be free to download, but the in-app purchases for most of the game are really crazy-expensive. And on top of that you have to buy each tournament separately and the 'World Domination' mode.
