In S.M.T.H, or Send Me To Heaven, the goal of the game is to simply throw your phone as high as possible, and the accelerometer will record the height thrown. You can compare your high score in that day’s top 10, that week’s top 10 and against the top 10 in the world, and GPS has to be enabled to compare your score against local players. Unfortunately, there is no way to create a personal leaderboard for friends and family, but you can share your scores on certain social networking sites.
How high a person throws is directly proportional to the person’s courage and how eager he or she is to get a new phone. There are bright red disclaimers in the app and on the Google Play Store description that the developers are not responsible for any injury or damage this game might cause to you or your phone. There is also a warning to players to be aware of their surroundings before metaphorically sending your phone to heaven.
Apparently, Carrot Pop originally submitted the game to the people at Apple but it was rejected because it did not want to encourage behavior that could result in damage to the device. Thanks to Google’s lenient approval process however, this game now exist on the Android market.
