Rovio announced in July, that they were working on a sequel to their Angry Birds Star Wars. There is no doubt this will be the biggest Angry Birds game yet. The game will feature 30 different characters and an entire line of toys when the game is released. The toys are similar to the Skylander toys, which uses Hasbro’s Telepod technology. Each toy will be a character in the game. The biggest feature in my opinion is that you can finally join the dark side! Or what they call it in the Angry Birds Star Wars series, “The Pork Side”. And yes, that means you can play as the piggies!
As you probably noticed, the game features the first ever talking pig in the games! And that talking pig is Ian McDiarmid! Or for those of you who don’t know who that is, he plays the Emperor in the movies!
The game will be out on September 19th all around the world for $0.99. There will also be a free ad-supported version.
