Vroom-Vroom!!!! Yes folks the long wait is finally over and the good folks at Gameloft gives us a new installment in the series titled Asphalt 8 Airborne. But the question still remains. Does the latest Asphalt game deliver? Please read on fellow gamers.
Like the title says this is the 8th installment in the series and its been with mobile gamers for 9 years. And it is one of the most successful racing franchises on mobile devices. So you are probably wondering; Is Asphalt 8 is better than the last? You bet it is! Asphalt 8 is so much better much, much better and more enticing mobile racing experience. Fluid controls are paired with more realistic interactions with other vehicles, making for more satisfying takedowns of rivals and crashes that don’t just look like Matchbox cars slamming into each other.
Asphalt 8 looks and drives like a brand new car. The graphics look so polished, shiny, and not to mention very detailed, even as you are racing down the city, the city looks good. The sounds of engines revving, and tires screeching on the road and as cars hitting each other sound like you are actually there, its just amazing. And the heart-thumping music is just gets your hyped and pumped up for the race The controls are just as smooth as ever, whatever mode you choose they are all just a smooth as butter, its all very responsive and fluid.
Now the multiplayer give you a chance to play with 7 other players. And the multiplayer mode is fun and competitive, challenging you friends to a race feels like playing a game of poker, where the stakes are high and you are trying all you can do to win. I love how the multiplayer mode has a new leaderboard. So you can compare your own score with friends and drivers from around the world. And whatever achievements you have achieved you can share them with other players either for bragging rights or just to prove to them that you are King of the streets.

And if you want to take a break from the multiplayer mode, you can go solo and try the career mode. Now like the multiplayer mode it is entertaining and has a long-lasting venture, thanks to a sprawling career mode that spans eight seasons and 180 events across multiple play modes. With a few dozen vehicles to unlock and upgrade, and no real need to fork out for in-app purchases (unless you want to speed up the progression), it’s an impressive and entertaining time. Both mode are fun and addicting to play, there is a lot in the game to keep you busy for a while.
This game is a like a nice upgrade to the series and thanks to thanks to next-gen shaders, real-time geometry reflection & other amazing effects for a new simulation of speed its a surprise that this good looking mobile game in not a console version. And the detailed damage system and the new Infected and Drift Gate game modes is like nothing you’ve seen in an Asphalt game before.
Now this great racer game is not available for all Android devices sadly it varies with devices. But thankfully this game is only $0.99 at the Google play store. Asphalt 8 Airborne is a great racer game to play, it has two great addictive mode to play through and has enough content here to keep you busy. This is without a shadow of a doubt this is easily one of the best racers in the Google play store, and this being the 8th installment proves it. Happy Gaming Gamers
