KitKat, the next Android update

Google has finally released some info for the next update!
Earlier everyone thought that the next update 5.0 would be called "Key Lime Pie" but it turns out it is called KitKat. But don't get your hopes up, this is just the 4.4 update.
When Google posted on G+ that they had achieved Android's 1 billion activation, Sundar Pichai the head of Android and Chrome, posted a picture of a "KitKat" statue outside building 44 on Google's campus.

"It's our goal with Android KitKat to make an amazing Android experience available for everybody." That's a bold statement, right? This has probably something to do with creating a new, smaller version that will work on all devices, including SmartWatches.
Google has not revealed anything other than the pictures. But if you live in the US, you can win a brand new Nexus 7 by buying a KitKat.
