Digg for Android

The most requested news app for Android is finally here!

Since they launched the Digg Reader this summer, for both the web and iOS, people have been requesting this app so much that it has become one of the most requested apps for android. Digg is a completely user friendly and an easy app to use. By sliding from the left edge of the screen to the right, you can add your own feeds and categories to create your own kind of "magazine". As you can see below, you can save articles and also "digg" articles and publish these to your Facebook timeline. You can use three different types of accounts: Google, Facebook and twitter. There is also a bookmark feature for Instapaper, Pocket and Readability.

From the time Google Reader was taken down, a lot of apps are competing to take it's place . My favorite is easily Flipboard, but I do think with time I might replace Flipboard with Digg. The only thing I miss, and think can make the app much better, is the availability to synchronize or fetch for offline. But the design and User Interface is the most important features . And in this case, both are perfect and could not have been better. Even the widget is awesome!
Digg is totally free and I recommend everyone to try it, maybe you'll even like it. Download it from Play Store here.
