Great news guys! Plants vs Zombies 2 has just launched on the Google Play Store in Australia and New Zealand! For those of you who live there, what the heck are you waiting for, you lucky sons of mothers! The rest of us will probably have to wait, but PopCap has assured us that it will be releasing to the rest of the world soon enough.
Plants vs Zombies 2: It's About Time has been out on iOS for a couple of months now and received strong reviews from most critics and fans alike. It not only expands the PvZ universe to include 3 different worlds with different settings and zombies, but also improves on every other aspect of the game. What's more, PvZ 2 is a free-to-play game that actually doesn't shove its IAPs in your face.
You might have caught a little rumor last week that Apple paid EA a bundle of cash to delay the launch of PvZ 2. While EA has denied such an arrangement, we still can't be too sure.
